About the Ulysses Club Incorporated ....
The Ulysses Club Incorporated
is an Australian club that was established for the 'more mature-aged'
motorcycle rider. Formed in December 1983, the Ulysses Club Incorporated
is the largest club of its type in the Southern Hemisphere. Chaired by
a National Committee, the Club is made up of subsidiary Branches and Groups
which are located throughout Australia. The Club also has members in some
overseas locations.
The Branches and Groups are basically
independently administered and normally have their own Sub-Committees.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the National Committee is held at
a different location within the country each year, and is regarded as
the focal point for which representatives of all Branches and Groups get
together. The AGM is 'THE' combined social event and pilgrimage of the
year and generally attracts over 4,000 members and their bikes.

of the Ulysses Club, please consult the main Ulysses web site by clicking

Who Can Join ....
Any person who is 40 years of age or
over, and who holds a current motorcycle licence, or who is a regular
partner of such a person, also 40 years or over, is eligible to join.
Until you reach the grand old age of
50, you will be a "junior" member, but with full membership
rights and privileges ... It's just that you might have to assist some
of the "seniors" off their machines from time-to-time!
A three (3) year membership to Ulysses
is mandatory, which presently costs $60.00 with a joining fee of $20.00.
All up the initial cost is $80.00 for Australian residents and $120 for
overseas residents. This is excellent value considering all members
receive a membership card and the quarterly Ulysses magazine, 'Riding On'.
The Club also has an excellent range of memorabilia available for purchase
from the Quartermaster. Details are available in 'Riding On' or at the
main Ulysses web site.
Riding On Magazine....
'Riding On' is a professionally printed
and a well-presented magazine. Not only is it a forum for general topics,
but it is also a medium by which Ulysses Groups Australia-wide publish
their up-coming run and social calendars. The magazine is particularly
useful for new members as it gives them the opportunity to learn what
Groups or Branches are in their area and what regional activities are
planned.
